Out with the Old, In with the New
So it has been more than five years that the Infinity Web logo has been in use and it has served us well. But a small revamp every now and again is perhaps a good approach, as such we made some enhancements to our logo but still kept the general feel of the brand mostly the same. In any event, a client is typically more interested in a company and not the logo, so we made some other changes as well.
WordPress Plus
In the last 6 months we have seen an increase in security issues with WordPress websites, especially when not kept up to date with the latest versions. As such we are introducing a new WordPress Plus hosting package which will allow us to specifically do basic security maintenance on all the client WordPress websites as typically the management of such websites would be a client’s responsibility in the absence of a support agreement. More information will sent directly to each individual client.
Updated Hosting Packages
Apart from the new hosting package, all website and email packages either have increased diskspace, bandwidth, email accounts or a combination of all 3. There will also be a new feature where we will monitor and asses Google Services linked to your website. Lastly, we have also secured two new hosting platforms, one specifically for Microsoft hosting clients and one for PHP / cPanel clients.
Lastly, for the first time we will be able to provide clients access to control panels for the maintenance of email accounts and the likes.
Value Added Tax
Starting March 1st (or perhaps sooner) we will be registered for Value Added Tax which will impact our hosting prices. For this reason, we have decided to revamp our website and email offering to lessen the effect of VAT.
